ACES Group has Co-Developed with the Industrial Technology Research Institute to build the first high-speed transmission cable R&D and production plant in Taiwan

Taoyuan City, Taiwan – July 15, 2022 The world has entered a high-speed transmission pacing "Internet of Everything" era. ACES Electronics Co., Ltd. (TWSE: 3605, from now on referred to as "ACES" or "the Company") independently develops, produces, and sells connectors and precision electronic components. It has been widely used in various industrial and consumer electronic products and stands in a leading position in the market. ACES has accelerated the deployment planning to prospect the continuous growth trends of 5G applications, high-performance computing, networking, cloud, automotive electronics, and industrial applications. After the ground-breaking ceremony of the Taiwan R&D headquarters building in April this year, ACES has co-developed with ITRI and jointly established a "High-Speed Transmission Cable R&D and Production Plant,"; once again demonstrating the ambition to remain in a market-leading position.
 

On July 15, 2022, ACES announced the official operation of the high-speed transmission cable R&D and production plant established at the Guoling Factory in Zhongli, Taoyuan City. The Chairman – Iven Yuan, accompanied by ITRI's Material and Chemical Research Laboratories Director – C.C. Lai, and the member – Dr. T.F. Huang. ACES also invited Taoyuan City Mayor – Wen-Tsan Cheng, Taoyuan City's Department of Economic Development Director – Eason Kuo, and other distinguished guests to attend the ribbon-cutting opening ceremony.
 

For the first time, ACES and ITRI's Material and Chemical Research Laboratories have co-developed to plan for more than one year and invested nearly NT$300 million to build the first-and-only high-speed transmission cables R&D and production base in Taiwan. It is hoped that through this close cooperation between industry and academia, both parties will jointly develop a product series with high technical thresholds to provide customers with complete and diverse integrated turn-key solutions. Moreover, to realize the long-term vision of strengthening the technology foundation in Taiwan, rapidly keeping pace with international manufacturers in R&D results, and further promoting the overall industrial upgrading of Taiwan.
