ACES Group Donates Mobile Library to Zhudong Township to Help Rural Children Explore the World of Books

In order to provide diverse services and assist rural children in experiencing the joy of reading and the power of knowledge, ACES Group Chairman Yuan Wanding, on behalf of outstanding employees, donated a mobile library named "Zuo Yi Qiao" to Zhudong Township Office in Hsinchu County. The aim is to expand library resources to every corner of Zhudong Township through regular and scheduled visits, enhancing services for students.

The donation ceremony took place on December 4th at the Erchong Elementary School in Hsinchu County. Chairman Yuan Wanding, along with the team, personally attended the donation event and handed over the keys to the mobile library. Ms. Chen Ji-yuan, Secretary-General of Hsinchu County Government, and Mr. Guo Yuanchang, the Mayor of Zhudong Township, received the donation on behalf of the township and presented a token of appreciation in return. This marks the third mobile library donated by ACES Group to Hsinchu County. The design of the mobile library features the local specialty of oranges, with children dressed in Hakka floral cloth and local landmarks incorporated into the design. This design not only represents traditional Hakka culture but also adds a lively atmosphere, making it unmistakably the mobile library of Zhudong Township. Following the donation ceremony, the mobile library was officially launched on-site, allowing guests and students from Erchong Elementary School to experience its functions and share the joy of providing high-quality and convenient reading avenues for rural children.

Chairman Yuan Wanding of ACES Group explained during an interview that although knowledge is intangible, it is the most powerful force. He hopes that knowledge can become the wings for children to explore the vast world. The idea of donating in the name of outstanding employees is to inspire employees to participate in charity work while promoting the idea of collective effort to sow the seeds of kindness in every family and community.

Mr. Yang Wen-ke, the Magistrate of Hsinchu County, expressed gratitude for ACES Group's support for reading promotion in Hsinchu County and its efforts to give back to society. He hopes that the third mobile library can help foster reading abilities among children in Zhudong and penetrate every corner of the community to promote a culture of reading.

Mayor Guo Yuanchang of Zhudong Township, upon receiving the donation, stated that the mobile library can accelerate the spread of knowledge, which is the cornerstone of cultural education. In the future, the township plans to organize the mobile library to tour the township, serving residents who may find it inconvenient to visit the library and expanding the library's influence to enhance the overall reading abilities of residents, thus shaping a reading-friendly environment throughout the township.
